This system tracks objects, normally people, in a small retail or large areas such as an airport. In the example of an airport, It can report movements based on:

  • Time they arrived and left
  • Which point they entered and left
  • Where they walked
  • Time spent at individual points or defined locations

Each object is identified and tracked in a 3D space using several cameras calibrated at set up. The data collected is then aggregated following location grids and time scales. Analysts can use their own reporting system with the raw data or use our recommended solutions displaying traffic statistics, frequency and dwell time.

This data of course can be mapped with other data sources such as retail promotions, or in the case of an airport security events, and departure delays.
